Eat More Chicken

I am not too proud to dress as a cow to get free chicken... and glad Luke and Harper went along with the whole thing.

My little cows. Luke made sure to Moo in almost every picture.

Luke always addressed me as Mama Cow. It took days for this to wear off.

At Chick-fil-a chilling with all the other cows.

Whoa, a really large cow is coming our way.

WHOA! A REALLY LARGE COW IS COMING OUR WAY!!!

Dancing with the big cow.

Yum. Eating our spoils.

4th of July

This 4th of July was a very special occasion for us because we were able to spend it with my entire immediate family.  All of my siblings made their way to Gilbert and it was a perfect week having them all so near (although I wish Rob could have spend more time relaxing with us and less time studying).

We started the day swimming at the Clubhouse beach. It was a crazy day because along with the sand castle contests and popsicles, it was RAINING. This is quite the miracle in the desert of Arizona. We were actually cold.

Later that day we did a big BBQ with family and friends.

Here are all of the McCarthy's Grandchildren

The Whole Fam

July is a busy month for Birthdays. With all the family together, we decided celebrate them all with their favorite desserts.
Cohen (2), Harper (2), Erik (26), Cassie (22)

So excited our friends Reid, Britta and Eliah could join us!

Then the FIREWORK SHOW. Papa and Rob manned the explosives...

Harper was terrified and ran to Joseph (my sister's boyfriend) for rescue.

I finally convinced Harper to come to me, but she only agree if I kept a constant cover over her ears. Eliah agreed with this strategy too.

These were the last ones. The biggest one was called Purple Rain and had the max legal limit of explosives. These ones shot high above the palm trees.
